Libraries are not the same anymore! The perspectives listed were enlightening in that they reaffirmed what I knew was happening in the libraries---They just aren't for checking out books anymore. The way services are being delivered, the technology involved and how the students must be involved in evaluating their sources through technology and the internet.

Challenging for librarians, teachers and students. At least our district acknowledges that we have to evolve.
These are exciting times for librarians. As a veteran teacher,I know you realize how much our job (librarian) has changed throughout the years.When I finished library school, I never dreamed that I would be allied so closely with technology! When I graduated, the computer was still a huge, room-sized monster, and keypunch operator was still a career path!
